Burleigh Heads Removals & Storage respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you request a quote, contact us or book a move.

When you enquire or book, we collect the details needed to assess and arrange your move. These may include your name, phone number, email address, moving suburbs or addresses, preferred date, home size, items to be moved, access details, and anything else you choose to tell or show us. We also keep relevant messages, quotes and booking records. If you book a job, we keep the information needed to provide the service and maintain business and accounting records.
We receive this information through our website forms, Meta lead forms, Facebook and Instagram messages, phone calls, emails and text messages.
We use your details to assess your enquiry, prepare and discuss a quote, check availability, arrange and carry out a booking, and follow up about your requested move. After completing a job, we may ask you for a Google review. We do not use quote enquiries for unrelated marketing unless you separately agree.
We sometimes enter enquiry details into a locally run Qwen quoting assistant to help organise move details, prepare draft quotes and maintain a local full-move enquiry log. Brandon reviews quotes and makes booking decisions.
If we cannot take your move, we may give you another removalist’s contact details so you can choose whether to contact them. We do not pass information submitted through our Meta lead form to another removalist. For enquiries through other channels, we will only pass your contact or move details to another removalist if you agree first. We do not sell your information or share it for unrelated marketing.
Our website is built with GoDaddy. It uses cookies, Google Analytics and a Google Ads tag to help us understand website visits and advertising performance. Its forms use Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
Your information may also be held in Meta’s inbox or lead tools, our website-form system, email and text-message services, and our local enquiry log. These providers handle information under their own privacy terms. Some providers operate internationally. Information handled by GoDaddy may be transferred outside Australia, including to the United States.
We keep enquiry and booking details in our business systems so we can respond to quote requests, manage moves, handle later questions and meet legal and accounting requirements. We do not currently have a fixed period after which unbooked enquiries are automatically deleted. We keep booked-job and accounting records for as long as required by law.
You can contact us to ask about information we hold or request its deletion. We will review what can be deleted or de-identified and explain if we need to retain any records.
You can email brandon@burleighheadsremovals.com.au or call 0410 761 566 to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We will review your request and respond within a reasonable time. If you remain concerned, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where applicable.
We will update this policy if our information-handling practices change and show the new date on this page.
